Video Process for Courses on MITx Online

The following outlines the general process for adding videos to an
MITx Online course.

#. The course team :ref:`prepares to add videos to the course <Preparing a
   Video>`.

   * The course team :ref:`creates videos <Create a Video>`.
   * The course team or organization :ref:`contracts with a transcript
     provider<Obtain a Video Transcript>`, such as 3Play Media or cielo24.

#. The course team :ref:`uploads a video <Uploading a Video for an edx org
   Course>` to the **Video Uploads** page.

#. The course team :ref:`creates video components <Add a Video to an edx org
   Course>` and adds the video information to the components.
